Komm, süsser Tod

July 17, 2010

This song is awfully unique and controversial, since it could lead people to suicide. It’s played on the most controversial anime, The End of Evangelion. There’re some spiritual lines in there which made me to add this song into my playlist.

You can get it here.

Below are it’s lyric. I warned you, it is really sorrow and deep.

I know, I know I’ve let you down
I’ve been a fool to myself
I thought that I could
live for no one else

But now through all the hurt & pain
It’s time for me to respect
the ones you love
mean more than anything

So with sadness in my heart
(I) feel the best thing I could do
is end it all
and leave forever

what’s done is done it feels so bad
what once was happy now is sad
I’ll never love again
my world is ending

I wish that I could turn back time
cause now the guilt is all mine
can’t live without
the trust from those you love

I know we can’t forget the past
you can’t forget love & pride
because of that, it’s killing me inside

reff:

It all returns to nothing, it all comes
tumbling down. tumbling down.
tumbling down

It all returns to nothing, I just keep
letting me down, letting me down,
letting me down

In my heart of hearts
I know that I could never love again
I’ve lost everything
everything
everything that matters to me,
matters in this world

I wish that I could turn back time
cos now the guilt is all mine
can’t live without
the trust from those you love

I know we can’t forget the past
you can’t forget love & pride
because of that, it’s killing me inside

reff:

It all returns to nothing, it all comes
tumbling down. tumbling down.
tumbling down

It all returns to nothing, I just keep
letting me down, letting me down,
letting me down

Blasa – Return of Condor Heroes ending theme

June 21, 2010

Suddenly remembered part of  this song when I looked on the rain outside..

Blasa by Yae

yuugure ni somaru koro umareta machi o deteyuku
wazuka na omoide o
kaban ni tsumete tsureteyuku

tooi sora nagai michi furikaerazu ni aruita
koko kara wa nakanai
mune ni kimete dekakeyou

kita no sora wa watashi o tsutsundekureru
aitai hito no basho o oshietekureteru

mado ni motarete naiteita hibi wa
ima kara kawarihajimeru deshou sayonara

kono machi wa takusan no
hito ga ikikai soreteyuku
otagai no kao ya namae sae mo
shirazu ni ikiteiru

nani mo ka mo o atarashii mono ni kaete
yumemiru koto mo wasurete hashitteyuku no

watashi no shiroi chiisai kotoba wa
todokanai kono machi ni mo anata ni sae mo

mado ni motarete naiteita hibi wa
ima kara kawarihajimeru deshou mou ichido

i shall leave my hometown when it turns dusk
i shall bring with me a bag
where i’ve packed what little memories i have

with nary a backward glance, i took to the long road under the distant sky
from here on i shan’t cry
i set out with that resolution in my heart

the northern sky embraces me
informing me the whereabouts of the person i want to meet

those days of crying by the window
will start to change now, good-bye

in this town
many people come and go
they hardly even know
one another’s name nor face

everything seems new
i run, leaving my dreams forgotten

my little, white words
do not reach anybody in town, not even you

those days of crying by the window
will start to change now, once more

Country Road カントリー・ロード (Jap. version)

January 20, 2010

It’s been a long time since I first heard this beautiful song on some movies I’ve rented. This special song become main soundtrack of Mimi wo Sumaseba (Whisper of the Heart). The real version is sung by John Denver, and become hits in 70′s, but in my opinion, the japanese version is much more beautiful and could create something like ’missing to our hometown’ blaze alongside with consciusness of living can’t go back to hometown.

Below is the lyric:

Can’t read? Here’s romaji version:

**Country road
     Kono michi zutto yukeba
     Ano machi ni tsuzuiteru
     Ki ga suru, Country road

     Hitori bocchi osorezuni
     Ikiyou to yume miteta
     Samishisa oshikomete
     Tsuyoi jibun wo mamotte iko

     **

     Aruki tsukare tatazumu to
     Ukande kuru furusato no machi
Oka wo maku saka no michi
     Sonna boku wo shikatteru

     **
     Donna kujikesou na toki datte
     Keshite namida wa misenaide
Kokoro nashi ka houchou ga hayaku natteku
     Omoide  kesu tame

     Country road
     Kono michi  furusato e tsuzuitemo
     Boku wa yukanai sa
     Yukanai, Country road

     Country road
Ashita wa  itsumo no boku sa
     Kaeritai kaerenai
     Sayonara, Country road

And below is the translation from the movie plus additional translation by me ;) :

**Country road
This old road, if you go right to the end
Got a feeling it’ll take me
     To that town, Country road

Had a dream of living on my own
With no fear of being all alone
Pushed my sadness down inside of me
And pretended I was strong as I could be

     **

When I stand still tired from walking
     My hometown comes to mind
The uphill road, winds around the hill
Scolds me for being that way

     **
It doesn’t matter to me how sad I might be
I will never ever let a tear show in my eye
If my feet are moving faster that’s because I only want to
     Push away memories

     Country road
This old road, could go right to my hometown
     I won’t go there, I can’t go there
Can’t go down that country road

     Country road
When tomorrow comes, I’ll be like I always am
Want to go back there, Can’t go back there
     Farewell, Country road

Haruhi nggak mau perang!

June 20, 2007

 haruhi

Jadi, stop war with anime!
